Tyson Foods is seeking an Operations Management Trainee in the United States (1st shift) to grow into leadership roles. The role focuses on supporting day-to-day production and driving improvements through data analysis and teamwork.
Essential duties include analyzing performance, leading small teams, and partnering with HR, Maintenance, and FSQA to enhance safety, quality, yield, and efficiency. A related technical degree or 1 year of experience is required; a Bachelor’s is preferred.
The Operations Management Trainee (OMT) is a developmental leadership role supporting day-to-day production and operational performance. This position uses independent judgment, data analysis, and cross-functional teamwork to identify opportunities and drive improvement. The role builds foundational leadership capability for future supervisor positions.
No direct reports, but responsible for leading teams, coordinating work, and making real-time decisions to support operations.
