Job summary

TK Elevator's Operations Management Training Program is a 6-month paid leadership development track designed to prepare you for a Superintendent role in New Installation and Modernization. You'll gain hands-on experience, technical training, and management exposure across projects in our Americas Operations.

The program starts February 2027, with 2 months in Atlanta at our Americas Headquarters (room and board provided) and 4 months in-branch as an Associate Superintendent, including on-the-job

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or trade school diploma required; alternative is 2+ years field service experience or military service.
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills expected.
• Ability to master customer service, negotiation, project management and conflict resolution.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and understand mechanical, physical, and spatial principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support construction operations to ensure safety, timeliness, and profitability.
• Lead new installation and modernization projects across a defined geographic area.
• Visit job sites, conduct quality audits, and participate in on-site safety trainings.

This 6-month paid leadership development program provides hands‑on experience, technical training, and management exposure that prepares you for a leadership role within our New Installation and Modernization Operations Teams. Upon successful completion, you'll step into a Superintendent position and begin your path toward becoming a future leader.

Class Start Date: February 2027.

Training Overview

2 months in Atlanta at our Americas Headquarters (TKE pays room and board)

• Safety, Sustainability, Elevator Bootcamp, and Operating Procedures
• Overviews of Human Resources and IT systems; skills development

4 months in branch as an Associate Superintendent (New Installation and Modernization)

• On the job training, job shadowing, online training, potential travel to participate in Area opportunities.
• Support technicians, partner with contractors on job schedules, participate in on-site construction meetings, partner with Sales Reps, participate in safety trainings, and provide feedback to management.

Superintendent Overview (New Installation and Modernization)

• Oversee and support our construction operations and projects so jobs are completed safely, timely, and profitably.
• Lead new installation and/or modernization operations in a defined geographic area in an efficient and cost effective manner.
• Sample activities: visit job sites, conduct quality audits, support mechanics, and facility safety trainings.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Associates Degree or trade school diploma with 1 year of field service experience; OR 2+ years of field service experience; OR military service; OR 1+ year of TKE experience.
• Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to master excellent customer service, negotiation, project management, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to understand mechanical, physical, and spatial principles.
