Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Coordinator in Lebanon, TN, to manage customer relationships, coordinate with rental and sales teams, and optimize operating costs.

The role supports an 18-month Operations Management Trainee program and relocation within the business unit after training. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year in customer service; strong PC skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1 year or more in customer service with issues resolution experience preferred.
• Strong PC knowledge/skills including spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Basic understanding of Business Finance, controls and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the customer relationship activities by providing quality customer interface, proactive customer management, issue resolution, and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the rental department to ensure maximum utilization without compromising lease customers.
• Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction.
• Manage running costs and maintenance overheads.
• Ensure policy and processes are followed to optimize running costs and maintenance overheads.
• Accountable for coordinating with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.

Operations Management Trainee (OMT) Overview

The Operations Management Trainee (OMT) is an 18 month structured and comprehensive training program to develop leadership and operational knowledge. This position involves working collaboratively with different teams to gain insights into the business, processes and strategies to align with customer retention, all facets of operational excellence and metrics. This position will give you a chance to utilize your problem solving abilities to help make good business decisions for the company. With support, mentorship and training from your managers and fellow team members, along with your willingness to relocate, you will be prepared to take the next step in a successful career. Essential Functions

• Ensure accurate PM scheduling and follow up, breakdowns and vehicle status updates; oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility.

Additional Responsibilities

Relocation within the business unit at the conclusion of the training program is required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation Information

• Pay Type: Salaried
