Job summary

REM Community Services, part of Sevita, seeks a Program Director for IDD Services to lead multiple programs and ensure quality supports and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a bachelor's degree and relevant experience in human services, with strong leadership and communication skills. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field is required.
• 2–3 years of related experience in human services preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of 1–4 programs, including direct supports, planning, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise program staff, including evaluations, schedules, and orientation.
• Make recommendations on hires, transfers, promotions, and actions.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure engaging, relevant supports for individuals served.
• Be available on-call to support staff and cover shifts as needed.

Hiring Wage $57,500 annual salary

This position requires someone who has had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.

Proof of full coverage vehicle insurance and reliable personal vehicle is required.

This Positions requires flexible availability for direct care and on call

Full Time with primary schedule of 9a-5p Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Program Director, IDD Services

• Manage the day-to-day operations of one to four programs in a community including organization and implementation of direct supports, person-centered planning, and implementation, health care, advocacy, stakeholder relations, regulatory compliance, recruiting, retention, staffing, training, safety, financial management, and maintenance of the physical environment.
• Manage program staff members including performance evaluations, scheduling, and orientation.
• Make recommendations and/or decisions on employee hires, transfers, promotions, salary changes, corrective action, and terminations.
• Manage the implementation of program planning; monitor delivery of services and supports; ensure services are consistent, engaging, and relevant to the individuals served.
• Must be available on-call to support staff, find coverage or cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Two to three years of related experience in the Human Services Industry preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Other education, experience, training, licensure, or certification per state requirements or as required by applicable regulations.
• Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
