Job summary

REM Community Services in Ohio seeks an Operations Management Area Director to lead a team delivering community-based services to adults with disabilities. The role requires a Monday–Friday schedule, starting as early as 7:30 am, and offers a salary of $72,500 per year.

You will oversee program operations, manage finances, and drive growth while building relationships with case managers, referral sources, and government partners.

Qualifications

• Three years of related experience with IDD population in Residential Group Home or Day Program settings with significant management experience.
• Master's degree in Human Services or related field.
• Licensure as required by state.
• Strong leadership qualities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• A commitment to quality in everything you do.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, leadership, and supervision of professional and other staff at the program site to carry out operations and ensure quality services to individuals served.
• Responsible for the financial performance of the area business unit, review financial statements, oversee purchasing, assure billing compliance, and documentation.
• Implement area core growth strategy to increase census, maximize utilization and occupancy percentages, and assist with new start development.
• Maintain and foster relations with case managers and referral agents; participate in building relationships with local legislators and government officials; lobby on behalf of individuals served.
• Implement area strategies to maintain and foster relations with individuals served, mentors, families, and guardians.

Hiring Wage $72,500 annual salary

This position requires someone who has had a Drivers License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.

Proof of full coverage vehicle insurance and reliable personal vehicle is required.

This Position requires flexible availability for direct care and on call.

Full Time with primary schedule of 7:30a-4p Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
