Job summary

Heidelberg Materials invites a Construction Management/Engineering/Business student internship in the United States. You will support field and plant operations, collaborate with engineers, sales, quality control, and maintenance teams, and participate in data collection for process improvements.

This hybrid internship emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and hands-on learning across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Current juniors and seniors pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Commitment and engagement through a high level of work ethic.
• Openness to change, flexibility, and adaptability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to motivate teams while managing several projects.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Interest in construction materials manufacturing, aggregate operations, and business operations.

Responsibilities

• Support and participate in assigned project work in the field and office.
• Assist plant operations in achieving production goals with cross-functional teams.
• Gain exposure to Operations, Sales, Quality Control, Maintenance, Logistics, and Administration.
• Collect and analyze operational data to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
