A renewable energy firm is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Manager to oversee the performance and maintenance of its asset portfolio. This role involves driving asset performance, managing compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and coordinating maintenance efforts. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of energy operations experience and strong electrical and mechanical systems knowledge. Job description

The Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of Lightshift Energy’s operating asset portfolio. This role oversees day-to-day asset performance, manages internal and third-party O&M providers, and ensures compliance with contractual, regulatory, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Own technical performance of Lightshift Energy’s operating assets.
• Monitor asset performance and drive corrective actions.
• Lead root cause analysis for outages and underperformance.
• Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Manage spare parts strategy.
• Manage third-party O&M providers and service contractors.
• Enforce SLAs and validate invoices.
• Review and approve contractor JHAs and work plans.
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, and regulations.
• Partner with Engineering, Development, and Finance teams.
• Support budgeting and lifecycle planning.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant energy operations experience.
• Experience managing operating assets and vendors.
• Strong electrical/mechanical systems knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BESS or distributed energy experience.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
• Base salary commensurate with experience and generous annual cash bonuses.
