Job Title: Operations & Maintenance Manager

• Work Location: Atlanta, GA
• Salary: Based on experience and will be discussed with the manager in the interview

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist the OV Construction Manager in administering technical tracking and documentation during the D&C period and project closeout.
• Track and verify compliance with reviews and responses to Construction Documentation (Field Changes, Design Changes, etc.).
• Oversee and manage operations and maintenance activities related to transportation projects, ensuring compliance with GDOT standards.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for efficient and cost-effective operations and maintenance.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Provide guidance to ensure team effectiveness in meeting project goals.
• Implement asset management strategies, monitor asset condition, and recommend maintenance or replacement.
• Manage budget planning and financial activities for operations and maintenance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including GDOT officials, contractors, and agencies.
• Develop systems to monitor and evaluate performance, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Management, or related field.
• Advanced degrees or certifications are beneficial.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in operations and maintenance management, with leadership in transportation projects.
• Experience with GDOT projects is strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of GDOT procedures and regulations.
• Strong technical understanding of asset management and maintenance practices.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Strong financial management skills.
