Job summary

The Chemours Company in Louisville is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Engineer - Maintenance Coordinator. This role coordinates daily schedules, resources and communications between Production and Maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and uphold safety standards.

You will also serve as the site Turnaround Coordinator, support PSM compliance and drive continuous improvement through data reporting and problem solving.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing.
  • Career oriented and ready for a step-up role in leadership and plant responsibilities.
  • Quick Learner with a proactive approach to new challenges.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for learning and using digital tools such as SEEQ, Power BI and proficiency with Microsoft tools.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple, time-sensitive activities.
  • Knowledge of chemical processes, maintenance procedures, equipment, and materials.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, extreme ownership and results driven.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily schedules, resources, and communications to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Oversee work management, execution and communication between Production and Maintenance.
  • Provide visible safety leadership and ensure process compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and data reporting.
  • Act as Turnaround Coordinator and support project execution.
  • Demonstrate risk management and robust problem solving.

Chemours is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Engineer - Maintenance Coordinator to join our growing Louisville Works team. This position will be available at the Louisville, KY and report directly to the Operations Manager.

The Operations & Maintenance Engineer - Maintenance Coordinator is a key role serving as the primary liaison between Production and Maintenance. You will ensure maintenance activities are safely planned, properly prioritized, and effectively executed to meet business objectives and maximize equipment reliability. This position is responsible for coordinating daily schedules, resources, and communications, while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, PSM compliance, and operational excellence. In addition, you will serve as the site Turnaround Coordinator. This position may include direct supervisory responsibilities.

$85,801.00 - $134,064.00
