Job summary

Brunswick's Mercury Marine in Brownsburg, IN is seeking an Operations Management Intern to gain hands-on experience supervising a small team of warehouse associates, applying lean methods, and driving improvements in safety, quality, delivery and cost on the distribution floor.

You will learn to lead a team, manage projects end-to-end, and collaborate with managers, supervisors, technicians, and staff while developing practical operations knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Permanent US work authorization required.
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program with a major in Operations Management, Manufacturing Management, Supply-Chain, Business or related field.
• Minimum second semester sophomore status with 48 completed credits.
• Availability to work full-time (40+ hours/week) May–August 2027.
• GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a small team of warehouse associates.
• Understand and manage key metrics: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost.
• Work with the operations department to improve processes using lean techniques.
• Establish work procedures and assign duties to meet production schedules.
• Provide regular status updates to upper management.
