Qualifications

• Five or more years’ experience in operations, manufacturing, logistics, or a related field.
• Three or more years’ experience in a management role in operations, manufacturing, logistics or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
• Adheres to the company’s values and ethical expectations.
• Able to effectively multitask with a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing and managing all operations personnel.
• Ensure efficient scheduling, training, and performance evaluation of staff.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
• Take a leading role in problem resolution involving operations personnel, sales personnel, vendors and customers.
• Assist in managing the uniform service.
• Collaborate on safety protocols and DOT compliance.
• Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to maintain a safe work environment.
• Oversee facility maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Manage dispatch operations and inventory for lubricant and fuel products.
• Implement inventory practices to minimize waste and ensure product availability.
