Job summary

Walmart in Northport, AL is seeking an experienced store leader to oversee community outreach, customer service excellence, and financial performance. You will supervise hourly associates, enforce policies, and drive business metrics while promoting a culture of belonging and integrity.

Responsibilities include developing teams, implementing action plans to improve safety and operations, and representing Walmart with external groups to support company programs and sustainability efforts.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University, General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Responsibilities

• Initiates, directs and participates in community outreach programs by encouraging and supporting associates and managers in serving as good members of the community.
• Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards to store associates by following and demonstrating the One Best Way OBW service model.
• Assist store manager in driving the financial performance of the Facility by ensuring that sales and profit goals are achieved.
• Coordinates, completes and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and communicating goals.
