Job summary

Wingstop is seeking an Assistant Manager to work closely with the General Manager and team to ensure the success of your Wingstop Restaurant. In this role you are preparing for, and developing to become, a future General Manager.

You must convey the Wingstop culture to fellow team members and be a creative team player who is passionate about hard work, about having fun, and demonstrating sincere dedication to the success of the brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in food service, retail, or restaurant.
• Food Handler Certification is required.
• 6 months experience using a POS system.
• Adhere to policies including cash handling and safety standards.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the General Manager to meet store goals.
• Drive sales and control labor and food costs during shifts.
• Maintain a safe restaurant environment and uphold Wingstop culture.
• Remain calm during peak periods and model positive behavior.
• Build relationships with the shift team and address needs.
• Provide excellent guest service with a guest-first attitude.
• Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and development of staff.
• Follow cash handling policies and assist inventory/order management.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and maintain communication across the team.
• Ensure facilities meet Wingstop standards and escalate maintenance as needed.
• Coach and mentor team members to sustain a high-performing unit.
