Job summary

Bayer (Schweiz) AG in Indianola, PA seeks a Process Leader for 1st shift to lead daily warehouse activities—receiving, storage, and shipping—while ensuring safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Requirements include 3 years in medical device or electro-mechanical assembly and 1 year of leadership; 1 year in quality control and production planning/inventory. Associate degree or APICS certs preferred. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3 years overall relevant experience in medical device assembly, mechanical assembly, electro-mechanical assembly.
• 1 year leadership experience.
• 1 year of quality control experience.
• 1 year of production planning or inventory control experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accuracy of quality, shift and production records and data entry.
• Trains and/or directs the efforts of Ops or team trainers to ensure team members effectively perform job duties.
• Lead the development and execution of team improvement plans to achieve higher levels of operational excellence and performance.
• Provides day to day feedback, both recognition and opportunities for improvement to team members on their performance.
• Conduct/direct ongoing training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Supports ongoing continuous improvement projects.
• Assists in the process of implementing corrective actions, including recommended disciplinary actions, in order to resolve individual team member performance issues.
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with all team members, other Process Leads, Production Supervisors, Production Manager, Production Planners and Quality, Engineering and Maintenance support personnel.
