Capitol Building Supply, Inc. - Baltimore is seeking an Operations Trainee E to manage day-to-day operations, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery efforts.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, safety, reporting, and driving efficiency across stockrooms and jobsites. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of related work experience, with strong MS Office skills and a proven leadership ability to coordinate cross-functional teams in a construction material environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills; effective team player and leader with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Navigate operational demands while communicating internally and servicing customers/orders.
• Oversee inventory levels, cycle counting, and P&L understanding; ensure OSHA and GMS policy compliance in warehouse and on site.
• Lead daily activities of team members; drive productivity, safety, quality and job knowledge across departments.
• Collaborate across departments to improve processes and communicate performance plans.
• Maintain service levels and may prepare and track lien releases.
