Job summary

Wesco is hiring a Lead Associate in Operations at our distribution facility. You will assist the Supervisor by directing the work of associates, and handling receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and wire cutting.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in warehouse operations, forklift experience, and can lift up to 50 pounds while staying on their feet for long periods. Training and development are offered as part of our career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years of warehouse operations experience required.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Senior Warehouse Associate or similar.
• Forklift experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor by directing work of other associates and assigning tasks.
• Monitor workflow metrics and coordinate reporting to management.
• Perform daily safety walks and communicate findings to Supervisors.
• Review complex shipments and staged goods prior to shipping for quality.
• Update monthly fuel service charges and shipping cost documents.
