Pet Food Experts is seeking an on-site Warehouse Team Leader in Suwanee, GA. You will support the operations team, lead warehouse staff, and uphold safety and efficiency across daily activities.

Qualifications

• Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck).
• Ability to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lead, motivate and mentor a team.
• Reliable transportation with a flexible schedule and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Perform the functions and accountabilities required for the operations team.
• Support Warehouse Management with training, leading, and directing staff in the absence of management.
• Support leadership by inspiring high performance and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform tasks while following safety procedures and regulations.
• Assist other departments as needed.

What You'll Do

• Responsible for performing the functions and accountabilities required for the operations team.
• Support the Warehouse Management team with training, leading, and directing other warehouse personnel in the absence of management or when required to do so.
• Support the Warehouse Management Team in leading by example, motivating and inspiring the warehouse employees to maintain high performance and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work space.
• Perform functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations.
• Assist other departments on an as needed basis.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in safely operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck), preferred
• Candidate must have the ability to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Willing and able to make decisions within the Team Leader area of responsibility (leading by example, delegating work, evaluating performance, motivating, training employees, etc.)
• Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude and demonstrated ability to lead a team through motivation and mentoring
