Job summary

Taleo seeks an Operations Manager to lead and optimize government contract operations in a demanding, high-performance environment. You will supervise supervisors and clerks, coordinate project activities, and drive SOP development to ensure top-quality performance.

Based in Lee’s Summit, MO, you will interface with government oversight personnel, address operational issues, mentor staff, and uphold safety and contractual standards while maintaining high employee morale and productivity.

Qualifications

• Public trust position requiring ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, post-offer physical, government background clearance including credit check, and U.S. citizen status.
• 3 years of recent project/operations/site/production management experience (last 5 years).
• Bachelor's Degree (or PMP in lieu of education).
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification within 180 days of contract award.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
• Regular attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities with excellent interpersonal and organizing skills.
• Present oral briefings to Government oversight personnel.
• Prepare SOPs and revisions in writing.
• Mentor supervisors and clerks; organize monthly management meetings.
• Assist QC Manager with quality control and corrective actions.
• Ensure operations comply with contractual standards and staffing needs.
