Anchor AI
Global trade still runs on outdated, time-consuming manual workflows. We’re fixing that! Anchor AI is building AI agents for customs brokers. Our AI works alongside humans to help brokers process more shipments- faster, with fewer errors.
We’re growing fast, backed by First Round Capital (early investors in Flexport), Pear VC, and other top investors. The timing is perfect: with the changes from the current administration, the market is waking up to the potential of AI. We’re racing to be the default AI platform for them.
We're hiring an Operations Lead to serve as the operational backbone of the company. Your job is to keep the business running smoothly while freeing up the founder (Sam) to focus 90–95% of his time on selling to enterprise customers. This is a high-trust, high-impact role—perfect for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves getting things done, and knows how to scale operations without adding bureaucracy.
You’ll own all the “glue work” that keeps our team fast, focused, and frictionless: events, HR/admin, tooling, vendors, and special projects.
Events & Marketing Ops: Manage sponsorships, prepare speaker decks, coordinate booth logistics, and support lead gen at conferences.
People & Admin: Run the new hire checklist, route AP/AR, coordinate IT setup, and keep HR basics humming.
Tooling & Data Ops: Maintain our internal Notion, Google Drive structure, and HubSpot setup.
Special Projects: Jump into ad hoc needs—whether that’s building an internal dashboard or generating AI-powered sales collateral.
Has 1–3 years in a generalist operations role at an early-stage B2B SaaS or marketplace startup.
Has personally run a national conference booth or a multi-city roadshow.
Is fluent in tools like Google Workspace, Notion/Airtable, Zapier, and HubSpot (or similar CRM).
Is scrappy, resourceful, and fast-moving—you build the table, not a meeting about the table.
Is low ego and high ownership—you’re happy booking flights, prepping demo decks, and drafting dashboards.
Writes clearly and professionally—you can send investor-ready updates.
Bonus: has experience in logistics or supply chain, but not required.
This is a rare chance to step into a high-leverage role early in the company’s lifecycle. You’ll have full ownership of operations while working directly with the founder and product team—and your work will directly impact revenue, customer satisfaction, and scale.
