Job summary

Athens Services is seeking an Operations Lead to help manage daily collection routes, ensure safety and efficiency, and support the operations management team. You will cover for supervisors as needed and drive a positive, safety-focused work culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of operations experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledgeable in OSHA, Federal DOT, and other related state and federal regulations.
• Must have demonstrated leadership, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Able to effectively communicate with people.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisors with any necessary paperwork and is responsible for the collection routes during supervisor's absence.
• Ensure efficient and safe operation of all collection routes.

• Assist with preparation of daily routes, route changes, vehicle replacements, dispatch duties and other work assigned.

• Ensure new employees are trained on general policies and proper use of assigned equipment.
• Ensure efficient and excellent customer service is provided to all customers.
• Train and retrain new and current employees.
• Assist supervisors with route observations.
• Handles special projects and other related management duties as assigned.

• Class A / B Commercial Driver's License.

Salary :

Salary : $27.65- $31.85 per hour

Hours:

Hours: Tuesday - Saturday 5:00am - 3:00pm
