The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a 24x7 Operations Lead to serve as the primary point of contact for overseeing the daily operations of the Cyber Operations Center (CYOC), ensuring the effective monitoring, management and maintenance of critical network systems and services in support of USSTRATCOM missions. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.

The work location for this position is Omaha, Nebraska. The position is contingent upon award of the United States Strategic Command SCITLS contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages overall CYOC security personnel during assigned shift
  • Plans, implements, upgrades, or monitors security measures for the protection of computer networks and information
  • Ensures appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure
  • Oversee real-time monitoring of network performance, security, and availability
  • Responds to computer security breaches and viruses
  • Manages the networks by monitoring and coordinating planned outages; identifies and tracks unplanned outages and reports/approves network fix actions
  • Executes decision-making authorities tasks and establishes vision and direction for an organization’s cyber and cyber-related policies, resources, and/or operations, while maintaining responsibility for risk-related decisions affecting mission success
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
  • May supervise others

Qualifications:

  • Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in network operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Required 8140 Cert within 6 months: 451 - Advanced; FITSP-O or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP; OR Applicable degree ABET accredited/CAE designated; OR Training

AND

  • Additional Cert: Advanced Cisco certification: One or more, CCNA, CCNP Data Center, CCIE Data Center, CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, and/or CCDE
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
  • Proficient in network monitoring tools and incident management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,000 - $163,800
