Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a concentration in Engineering.
• Previous internship experience in Manufacturing or a functional area is preferred.
• Proven leadership experience and strong technical aptitude.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• 12 week paid internship with salary and hands-on projects alongside industry experts.
• Housing and activity stipend provided; relocation assistance (mileage reimbursement and U-Haul trailer).
• Engage with Sonoco leadership and networking opportunities with other interns and Emerging Leader associates.
• Gain exposure across manufacturing, process engineering, quality, safety, commercial/sales, finance/accounting, and supply chain fields.
