Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking an Operations Internship candidate in the United States.

Under close supervision, you will assist with customers on providing transportation/logistics services and gain exposure to basic transportation management principles. You will participate in daily tasks such as planning freight, asset utilization, safety management and DOT compliance while developing industry knowledge and company initiatives related to driver retention.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program OR graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college or university.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Junior or Senior level preferred.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). Willingness to work flexible hours. Junior or Senior level preferred.

Expected compensation for this role $15/hourly

This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Compensation

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education,experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
