Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Westfield, MA offers an Operations Internship for Fall 2026 in the Supply Chain department.

You will gain exposure to transportation management principles and participate in daily operational tasks such as freight planning, asset utilization, and safety management. Under close supervision, you will assist with DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis while supporting Customer Value Delivery and related duties.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program OR graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college or university.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Junior or Senior level preferred.

Expected Compensation

For this role $15/hourly

This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Compensation

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company's bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
