J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Connecticut seeks an Operations Internship for Fall 2026.

Under close supervision, you will assist with customers on providing transportation and logistics services while gaining exposure to foundational management principles. Responsibilities include supporting daily operational tasks such as freight planning, asset utilization, safety and DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program OR graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college or university.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.

Compensation

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
