Job summary

Haworth invites you to spend a transformative summer as an Operations Intern at the Holland, MI headquarters. You will join a cohort of about 50 interns in a 12-week program featuring meaningful projects, weekly learning sessions, and exposure to innovative manufacturing processes.

You’ll participate in a New Product Launch in the Walls plant, gain frontline leadership experience, and help continuously improve processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentors.

Qualifications

• College enrollment for a bachelor's degree in Operations management, Manufacturing Engineering, or General Business.
• Junior status by Fall 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States and availability May 2027–Aug 2027 (onsite in Holland, MI).

We are currently looking forpaid Operations Interns to join our team in Holland, MI.This position will be working onsite at the Haworth Corporate Headquarters.

As an Operations intern, you will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of exciting projects including: A New Product Launch in our Walls plant, Front line leadership experience, and continuously improving current and new processes.

Required Qualifications

• Part-time or full-time college enrollment, working towards a bachelor's degree in Operations management, Manufacturing Engineering, or General Business with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2027.
• Ability to work On-site in Holland, MI from May 2027 to August 2027.
• Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for the position.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher.
• Prior Haworth experience.
• Extra-curricular activity experience such as athletics, clubs, volunteer work, etc.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience office 365 tools.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior leadership experience
  

Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications, and keyboard skills.
• Desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
• Organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
