Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated offers a 10 to 12-week internship program designed to give students broad exposure to our business and opportunities to work on meaningful projects. The intern will support MOV Block Utilization Database Development and gain hands-on experience while developing professional skills for a rewarding career at Hubbell.

Interns participate in team projects, learn about Hubbell’s grid modernization and electrification focus, and present to local management at program end.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited university working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree related to the internship.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (required)
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply classroom knowledge to on-the-job experiences.
• Work on comprehensive, value-added projects.
• Collaborate in teams and with colleagues in a professional environment.
• Develop technical skills specific to your major.
• Provide a presentation to the local management team at the end of the program.
• Assist with process improvement.
• Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Provide support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate.
