Job summary

ENFRA is seeking an intern to gain hands-on experience in mechanical installations for hospitals, hotels and institutional facilities in Houston. The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and contributing to project tasks while developing professional skills under supervision.

The program targets students in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering and related fields, with opportunities to participate in meetings, reports, and document control during the internship.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related business major.
• Must have reliable transportation to work daily.
• Punctual and proactive with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently with daily supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication; safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Creates a master checklist of expectations and goals to guide the internship and evaluation.
• Assists departments with projects and estimating or business operations.
• Participates in special tasks/projects and collaborates with team to complete.
• Collects information, creates/updates files, documents, spreadsheets, databases, reports and schedules.
• Prepares reports and presentations as needed and attends meetings.
• Performs tasks under supervision of an Assistant Project Manager, Project Manager, or staff.
