About the Internship

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transportation & Logistics / Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This paid internship provides hands‑on experience in transportation operations, logistics, fleet management, shipment coordination, and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate is interested in building a career in transportation, logistics, operations, or supply chain management and is eager to learn how products and materials move efficiently from origin to destination.

Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities

• Assist with daily transportation and logistics operations.
• Help coordinate shipments, deliveries, pickups, and transportation schedules.
• Monitor shipments and assist with tracking loads and delivery status.
• Support dispatch and transportation planning activities.
• Assist with maintaining accurate transportation and shipment records.
• Review operational data and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Assist with scheduling drivers, equipment, and resources.
• Help monitor key performance indicators related to transportation and supply chain operations.
• Communicate with drivers, customers, and internal departments as needed.
• Help investigate and resolve shipment, delivery, or scheduling issues.
• Participate in process‑improvement and cost‑reduction projects.
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for management.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Strong interest in transportation and supply chain operations.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
