Opportunity

Operations Intern

David Zwirner is seeking an Operations Intern to work alongside our Operations team. Qualified candidates should be highly organized, responsible, and motivated, with an interest in gaining experience in the day-to-day functions of a professional office environment.

What you’ll do
  • Mail Distribution: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to the appropriate departments and individuals.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and restock office supplies. Track inventory levels and ensure necessary items are ordered and maintained.
  • Kitchen Supplies: Manage the ordering, tracking, and restocking of food and beverages for shared kitchen areas. Ensure kitchens are consistently stocked and organized.
  • Front Desk Support: Greet and assist visitors and staff as they enter the office. Direct guests and provide a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks to support the operations team.
What we would like you to have
  • Organizational abilities: Strong skills in managing and organizing tasks, with attention to detail in inventory tracking and mail distribution.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with staff, visitors, and vendors.
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide a positive and professional front desk experience.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying and resolving issues related to office supplies, kitchen inventory, and general administrative tasks.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Google Suite and comfortable using office equipment.
Internship details

The internship runs from approximately September 8, 2026 to December 18, 2026. Hours are 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 2-3 days a week. Commitment of at least 3 months is required, with the possibility of extension. All interns are paid NYC minimum wage of $17/hour. All candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT. No lodging or commuting expenses are provided.
