Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking an operations generalist at our Lakeland, FL location. The role focuses on learning and applying company policies, supervising basics, and collaborating across departments to ensure smooth production workflows.

We offer a salary of $58,000 per year and a comprehensive rewards package; preferred candidates have at least 1 year in production/manufacturing and a high school diploma or equivalent. This position emphasizes safety, compliance, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Completes development plan designed by department head or hiring manager.
• Develops understanding of the Company's business, policies, procedures, practices, and management philosophy.
• Establishes positive working relationship with all co-workers and supervisory personnel in assigned work areas.
• Practices, complies and ensures compliance with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.).
• Performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.

Bringing Home the Dough

The operations generalist is tasked with learning and exhibiting job specific tasks, generally-accepted supervisory skills, company-established policies, procedures, and interpersonal skills. Requires constant interaction with work group and other departments at the primary work location.
