Job summary

Sulzer is seeking an Operations FP&A Manager to act as a finance business partner across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Procurement and Projects. You will lead forecasting, inventory oversight, and KPI reporting to drive profitability and working capital efficiency.

You will partner with plant leadership to identify financial risks and opportunities, analyze inventories, and support capital investments and cost optimization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in FP&A, Operations Finance, Manufacturing Finance, or Supply Chain Finance.
• Strong knowledge of inventory, working capital, forecasting and manufacturing analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational forecasting for production volumes, labor, material consumption, manufacturing costs, inventory and working capital.
• Partner with Operations leadership to identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Analyze raw material, WIP and finished goods inventories and drive inventory turn improvements.
• Monitor inventory aging, excess inventory and obsolescence exposure.
• Establish and maintain robust WIP reporting and forecasting processes.
• Track project costs, margins, labor utilization and forecasted outcomes.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing KPI dashboards and performance analytics.
• Perform variance analysis, root-cause analysis and profitability assessments.
• Support capital investment evaluations and operational improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted business partner to Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Project leaders.
