University of Illinois Extension in Bloomington, IL seeks a 100% full-time Civil Service 5010 – Business/Administrative Associate. The role supports a large multi-county unit, managing fiscal operations, budgets, and reports under the supervision of the County Extension Director.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in business/management and at least two years of professional experience; a Master’s degree can substitute for one year of experience. A valid driver’s license is preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field; 2 years professional business/financial experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for 1 year of experience.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees unit fiscal operations, including program liabilities and financial reports.
• Maintains budgets, grant budgets, and cost control with the County Director.
• Supervises office staff, HR duties, and maintains confidential personnel files.
• Assists with contracts, leases, and off-site program venues; liaises with auditors.
