Job summary

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in construction, precast concrete, steel erection, or general labor.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and jobsite instructions.
  • Comfortable working in outdoor construction environments year‑round.
  • Physically capable of performing heavy labor and lifting tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to job sites across Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and additional states as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Install precast concrete panels, beams, and structural components per blueprints and construction specifications
  • Perform rigging and signaling for crane and forklift placement of heavy materials
  • Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and securing of precast elements
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and manlifts safely and efficiently
  • Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and positioning materials on active job sites
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance and jobsite support tasks
  • Follow all OSHA safety standards, jobsite protocols, and company policies
  • Identify and mitigate site‑specific hazards
  • Maintain a strong safety‑first culture in all work activities
  • Collaborate with install team members, supervisors, crane operators, and site crews
  • Communicate clearly to ensure safe and efficient execution of work
  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and team‑oriented jobsite environment
  • Assist with site cleanup, organization, and material handling
  • Work in varied weather conditions including heat, cold, and high‑noise environments
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion

We're hiring a Field Install Team- Precast to join County Materials in Astatula, FL.

Job Summary

The Field Install Technician installs, rigs, aligns, and secures precast concrete panels, beams, and structural components at commercial and industrial construction job sites. This hands‑on role requires experience in construction installation, rigging, crane signaling, and material handling, working from blueprints and project specifications to ensure accurate and safe installation.

This position involves working in physically demanding indoor and outdoor environments with frequent travel across multiple states. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to OSHA safety standards, teamwork, and clear communication while supporting efficient project execution.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Install precast concrete panels, beams, and structural components per blueprints and construction specifications
