Job summary

Bright Direction Dental LLC. is seeking a Director of Operations & Special Projects to lead operational strategy across a multi-site dental network and drive enterprise initiatives. You will mentor Area Managers, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure SOPs, budget integrity, and KPI achievement while advancing growth and infrastructure.

Will travel to practices and lead transformations. This role requires residency in Michigan, willingness to travel, and a track record of improving

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of multi-site healthcare or dental operations leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
• Strong financial, operational acumen with budgets and P&Ls.
• Proven ability to lead organizational change and cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytics, and project management skills.
• Experience with dental practice management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute operational strategy across a multi-site organization.
• Provide leadership to Area Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor key metrics: production, EBITDA, scheduling, hygiene, patient satisfaction.
• Lead enterprise projects including acquisitions and system implementations.
• Develop and enforce SOPs and best practices.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, IT, and leadership to remove barriers.
• Support staffing, onboarding, and retention.
• Travel to support practices and projects.
