You’ll work on real projects alongside experienced professionals, gain practical experience, and contribute to material planning, inventory management, and process improvements during a 10-week summer program.

This paid internship includes mentorship, training, and opportunities to build skills in SAP and Microsoft Office while developing time-management and communication abilities

Qualifications

• This internship requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is preferred; SAP experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong time management and prioritization abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material planning requirements and issuing purchase orders.
• Support new process implementation and process improvement initiatives.
• Manage inventory and reorder points based on schedules.
• Prepare reports and communications as requested.
• Perform system data analysis, maintenance, and clean-up.
• Stage orders and create stockroom pick lists; schedule materials.
• Use capacity and lead time information to assure schedule compliance.
• Analyze material demand and shortages and their impact on schedules.
• Assist supervisors with disposition of rejected material and bottleneck analysis.
• Maintain data records and establish production schedules for assigned area.
