Job summary

Utah Royals FC in collaboration with Real Salt Lake seeks a seasonal Event Operations Staff member to support private club rentals and all game-day operations. This role contributes to a high-energy atmosphere, ensuring events run smoothly from setup to teardown.

Under supervision of the Event Operations Manager, you will assist with gameday tasks, coordinate with staff, and help deliver an exceptional fan experience during Royals and RSL events, with evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Availability to work all Royals/RS L home matches.
• Evenings and weekends required; private rentals as booked.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gameday setup and teardown of stadium security entrances.
• Support fan experience activations on the Plaza and adjacent areas.
• Coordinate with full‑time staff to ensure smooth event setup and execution.
• Help with overall stadium upkeep and asset management.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Event Manager.

SUMMARY

Under the general supervision and guidance of the Event Operations Manager, the Operations Event Staff will dedicate time to the private club rentals and game day operations of all events.

This is a seasonal position.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Manage tasks as assigned by the Event Manager on gameday:
• Execute gameday set-up and teardown of stadium security entrances
• Assist with fan experience activations on the Plaza
• Contribute to overall stadium upkeep and asset management
• Coordinate with full-time staff members to ensure successful event set-up and execution
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the Event Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

• Schedule availability to work all RSL and Royals home matches.
• Schedule flexibility to work private event rentals as booked, typically evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work well with a team.
• Must be efficient and adaptable to changes.
• Must have a high-level of communication.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the teams’ schedules.
• Ability to work independently with initiative and attention to detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT :

The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 50 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, typing, etc.
