The Role:

I am seeking an Operations Electrical Engineer with experience supporting wind, solar, and BESS facilities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues, developing standard practices across facilities, and providing site personnel support regarding SCADA, alarm management, substation components, protections and controls, switching procedures, and maintenance development.

Responsibilities:

• Support unplanned outages by analyzing relay event files to guide onsite teams and reduce return-to-service times.
• Troubleshoot and perform diagnostic testing of devices and systems to resolve alarms and faults.
• Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to restore equipment in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain procedures for field equipment reliability.
• Communicate regularly with managers and plant personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Participate in or lead improvement initiatives within the business unit.
• Oversee external professionals and OEMs, ensuring work aligns with company standards.
• Follow internal controls and develop new ones as needed.
• Perform root cause analysis and present findings to teams and management.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting power systems
• At least 4 years of renewables experience
• Experience with SCADA and substations
