Job summary

CIS International LLC in Juncos, PR, is seeking an Operations/Design Engineer to analyze and implement process improvements across operations, manufacturing, pilot plant or capital projects. You will apply basic engineering principles to design modifications and contribute to projects of minor scope.

The role requires a Masters or Bachelor’s in engineering with 2 years of experience, and knowledge of GMP/pharma processes. Strong English/Spanish communication and technical writing are essential.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s in engineering with 2 years of engineering experience.
• Educational background in Mechanical, Electrical and/or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with equipment and/or process troubleshooting in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes and GMP production operations.
• Organizational & technical writing skills; proficient in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Under general supervision evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Perform assignments with clear objectives requiring limited variable investigation.
• Initiate and complete routine technical tasks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop requirements for system modifications.
