Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. seeks an Operations Engineer in Mont Belvieu, TX to ensure safe, reliable operation of the process unit and support continuous improvement.

You will monitor KPIs, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to Operations teams. The role involves coordinating with Commercial and other stakeholders, preparing KPI reports, and promoting a strong safety culture across the site.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in chemical plant environment or related industry preferred.
• Experience with process troubleshooting and optimization.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operation of the process unit daily, review KPIs, logs, trends, and data to ensure reliable, on-spec operation.
• Prepare KPI reports/presentations to communicate health and reliability of the unit.
• Communicate unit limitations, environmental impacts, and constraints to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve operating issues; provide troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical guidance.
• Investigate root causes of failures and recommend preventive actions.
• Lead improvement initiatives and projects to achieve optimization goals.
• Support design and implementation of new processes, equipment upgrades, and capital projects.
• Track variable costs and identify opportunities to reduce operating expenses.
• Provide start-up/shutdown support and develop operating guidelines.
