Required:
1. Three years of custodial experience.
2.Two years ofleadership experience.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
1. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
2. Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of a computer and Microsoft Office tools.
3. Working knowledge of good housekeeping practices and procedures; ability to operate cleaning equipment.
4. Working knowledge of broiler room/geothermal system operations and related equipment.
5. Leadership skills.
6. Ability to present a professional appearance and demeanor.
7. Ability to demonstrate good judgment and promote spirit of cooperation with others.
8. Competency working in a culturally diverse environment.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Serve as lead custodial staff in assigned facilities. Responsibilities may include coordinating staff schedule; Maintaining inventories and supplies; Conducting basic building safety inspections; Providing maintenance and repair to equipment and building facilities; and performing custodial duties. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; Specific positions requirements will vary depending on the need operations department.
The Operations Engineer Chief directs the work of the custodial employees in the building and assures the performance of cleaning assignments, building maintenance, and safety requirements.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Constant standing and walking. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and carrying up to 10 ft. Frequent use of telephone and computer.
WORKING CONDITIONS:Frequent inside, outside, and exposure to extremes of temperature/humidity
