Job summary

The Dispatch Coordinator is an essential role within our operations team, working closely with moving crews, customers, sales, and leadership to coordinate moves from start to finish. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, communicates well, and provides excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Prior dispatch/logistics experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
• Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and data entry abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily moving jobs.
• Schedule moving crews and trucks.
• Ensure adequate capacity for daily jobs.
• Answer incoming calls and make follow-up calls.
• Contact customers regarding schedules, ETAs, payments, and service updates.
• Maintain accurate CRM notes and shipment documentation.
• Monitor drivers and ensure DOT compliance.
• Track driver locations and daily activities.
• Communicate with customers, sales, and operations to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with resolving customer service issues.

The Dispatch Coordinator is an essential role within our operations team. This position works closely with our moving crews, customers, sales team, and leadership to ensure every move is coordinated from start to finish.
