The Associate Director of Operations for the UM Department at SUNY Upstate Medical University provides strategic, operational, and administrative leadership to support the UM, CDI, and the Program of Hospital Medicine across SUNY Upstate campuses.

This role oversees administrative, financial, and human resources functions, collaborates with the UM director and institutional leaders to advance clinical excellence, education, and innovation. Monday-Friday, some nights, evenings & weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in an administrative/ supervisory capacity.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Demonstrated financial management and budgeting proficiency.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, data analysis, and institutional HR/finance systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex academic healthcare environment.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic, operational, and administrative leadership to ensure smooth functioning and growth of the UM, CDI, and the Program of Hospital Medicine across SUNY Upstate Medical University campuses.
• Oversee all administrative, financial, and human resource functions within the program.
• Work closely with the UM director and other institutional leaders to advance the program's mission of clinical excellence, education, and innovation.
