Job summary

United Utility Services is seeking a Director of Operations in Shelby, NC to drive operational excellence across multi-project utility services, optimize resources, and uphold safety and quality standards. You will lead cross-functional teams from inception to completion, develop strategic plans, mitigate risks, and mentor project teams while advancing the company’s mission to deliver reliable energy.

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in operations management within the electric utility industry.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large-scale utility projects.
Strong understanding of utility operations, including transmission, substation, and distribution systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve operational excellence.
