PG&E is seeking an Operations Data Analyst to extract operations data for analysis, support leadership with ad hoc requests, and maintain operations tools and databases using data from PG&E systems.

The role emphasizes developing and improving operational metric databases, automated data routines, and providing clear, actionable insights to leadership across the organization. It is a hybrid position with in-office requirements 1–2 days per week in the Oakland area.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6 years of related work experience.

Responsabilités

• Manages data analysis projects from initial request to presenting data results within budget and on-time.
• Designs data analysis to meet business objectives, processes data, analyzes data, and writes findings for audiences.
• Manages complex data extracts and transfers from databases to analysts to support operational analysis.
• Analyzes data using advanced statistical tools to develop ad hoc reports, statistics, trends and profiles.
• Develops clear, concise data analyses for clients.
