What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform CPT and ICD10 coding by abstracting medical records, focusing on complex encounters
- Collaborate with providers and clinical areas to ensure accurate representation of patient services

- Maintain coding reference information and ensure compliance with guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
- 0 to 2 years of experience in a relevant role
- Minimum 94% accuracy on the organization's coding test

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a Health Information Management program accredited by CAHIIM
- Previous experience with physician coding
