Job summary

Bayer AG in Lubbock, TX is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support site production operations, manage inventory, procurement, vendor relations and work order planning. The role involves SAP data entry, onboarding, and end-to-end coordination with internal/external partners to ensure smooth asset management and production flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Valid Driver’s License with driving record meeting company guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Organization and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of manufacturing and/or agriculture operations or willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to rapidly connect and analyze data.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support site production operations, build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to drive operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate inventory management, procurement, contractor/vendor management and work order planning.
• Support maintenance and production teams, End to End team, and external partners for asset management.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of site employees and payroll-related processes.
• Process freight payments and schedule deliveries with some supervision.
• Support Production System improvements and site initiatives.
• Maintain SAP data, manage grower vendor data, and assist with accounts payable.
• Drive a company vehicle as part of job duties, possibly >5,000 miles/year.
