Job summary

Mobile Modular Management Corporation in Concord, NC is seeking an Ops Coordinator to oversee delivery, installation, and removal of modular buildings. The role includes light accounting, billing, document retention, and quote approval to support Sales and Operations.

After onsite training, the position shifts to a hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two from home. Candidates must live within commuting distance of Concord, NC. The pay level depends on experience and location.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate delivery, installation, and removal of modular buildings with stakeholders.
  • Assist with light accounting/billing and quote documentation/approval.
  • Maintain document retention and back-end charge processes.
  • Provide timely information to sales, vendors, and customers.
  • Create and run reports to meet deadlines and business needs.
  • Negotiate with customers and vendors to resolve conflicts while preserving relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The specific pay rate and level will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience and location.


Hybrid - This position requires onsite training in Concord, NC, typically for a few months, with the duration varying based on individual progress and business needs. After training, employees transition to a hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home. Work arrangements, including hybrid schedules, are subject to change based on business needs, operational requirements, and company policy. Candidates must live within commuting distance of our Concord, NC office.


“A Day in the Life”

As an Ops Coordinator we are looking for a highly motivated individual to effectively coordinate and logistically oversee the delivery, installation, and removal of modular buildings with internal partners, vendors and customers. This role will also perform a variety of administrative tasks including light accounting/billing, document retention, quote documentation/approval and the back-end charge process in support of our Sales and Operations departments.


“What You’ll Do”

This role will collaborate with sales representatives, internal/external customers, vendor partners, project managers and coordinators and others to:



  • While maintaining a people-focused approach, you will meet the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers by gathering customer information and ensuring projects are completed on time.

  • Effectively provide timely information people need to know to do their jobs; providing direct support to sales, vendors and customers to coordinate movement of equipment.

  • Communicate on a technical and professional level while interfacing with vendors, contractors, architects, and customers clearly and succinctly in writing or verbally.

  • Use systems, tools, and informal methods effectively to manage each project to completion while properly adhering to Company policies and procedures.

  • Manage and run reports to ensure deadlines of the business and customer needs are met

  • Negotiate skillfully with customers and vendors to settle differences/conflicts effectively; win concessions with customers without damaging relationship.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • 3 + years experience working in a professional business environment required.

  • 3+ years in a customer service role with ability to build lasting relationships.

  • Knowledge of AI as it relates to operations coordination, logistics, and modular building management is a plus
