Carnegie Mellon University is seeking an Operations Coordinator within Computing Services in Pittsburgh to coordinate administrative support and clerical tasks, assist in documenting processes, and help manage various projects and initiatives.
The role also covers Shipping & Receiving duties, including tracking orders, recording assets, creating shipping labels, coordinating freight, and aiding in equipment refresh and inventory communications.
Computing Services is searching for an Operations Coordinator to join the team. This role will be responsible for coordinating administrative and secretarial/clerical assistance to help support the daily operational tasks of the Computing Services division. You will assist in process documentation and process flow for Operations. In addition, you’ll support a variety of Computing Services projects and initiatives based on need. This role will also cover the Shipping & Receiving desk for the division by tracking orders, receiving orders, including recording in the appropriate asset system, creating shipping labels and coordinating pick up of returns. Accept deliveries and coordinate freight deliveries at loading dock. Aid in equipment refresh process tracking, inventory and communication of refresh productivity equipment. The Computing Services central IT department provides services that have strategic impact on university goals.
