Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinates field and laboratory technicians and assists supervisors in assigning tasks to them on individual projects.
  • Assists in the training of technicians and provides input on their performance.
  • Prepares construction materials testing and observation reports that provide written documentation of services performed.
  • Works directly with clients to meet needs.
  • Performs safety audits of technical staff as applicable.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma required; 2‑year vocational degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering, or construction management a plus.
  • Experience and/or training: Experience with materials testing preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current driver’s license required; ACI Field LevelI Certification preferred; Nuclear Density Gauge Certification preferred; DOT, ICC, and NICET certifications preferred or ability to obtain as needed.
  • Technology/Equipment: Experience with Microsoft applications preferred.
  • Work/Environment: Jobsite environment which may be loud, outside in all weather conditions, and/or tightly enclosed areas with uneven walking surfaces; sometimes office environment with computer, telephone, other office equipment; frequent interruptions during the day.
  • Travel: Occasional out‑of‑town travel as needed for business needs, totaling less than 5% annually; consistent local travel daily without overnight stays; ability to drive a pickup truck or SUV.
Compensation

Compensation Range: $55,000.00 – $82,000.00.
